Suggested additions: cinnamon stick, whole star anise, allspice, cardamom
Place the first four and any combination of the suggested additions into a crockpot before bed. Set your crockpot temperature to low and cover, allowing it to cook overnight.
Serve with any combination of brown sugar, raw agave, fresh cracked pepper, large crystal salt and almond, soy or coconut milk. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator. Reheats very well in the microwave.
