Give Your Kitchen a Deep Clean!

Open Nature Cleaning Products, one hand pulling cleaning wipe from container

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Star Market. All opinions are 100% my own.

The little ritual of putting things back in order in my kitchen after preparing a meal is a great opportunity to turn inward and reset. Whatever feels cluttered in my mind from the day gets straightened out as I clean up dishes, wipe down surfaces and put things back in their place. Sometimes it’s done in silence, chatting with Jeff or listening to a podcast/music. As much as I keep my kitchen cleaned up, a good deep clean every now and then is essential for keeping this space serene and tidy.

This post is in partnership with Star Market for their Open Nature® line of cleaning products, which are all biodegradable and cruelty-free+not tested on animals. For this task, I used Open Nature’s All-Purpose Cleaner, Cleaning Wipes and Granite Cleaner.

A periodic deep clean is a great way to declutter and get rid of some of the dirt and grime in those corners and hard-to-reach areas. Since this space is surrounded by dishes, appliances and food, I like to start with non-toxic, plant-based cleaning products, and Open Nature products are perfect for the job. Their granite and all-purpose cleaners cut through grime without any harsh chemicals or smells.

The Open Nature line is available exclusively at Boston’s Star Markets, but if you live outside of the area, you can also find them at any Albertsons Companies family of stores across the country, including ACME Markets, Albertsons, Safeway, Jewel-Osco, Vons, Pavilions, Randalls, Tom Thumb, Shaw’s, United Supermarkets and Carrs. Visit starmarket.com/exclusivebrands to shop online or find a store near you.

To tackle a deep clean, I divide my kitchen into quadrants, making the task more approachable. Check out the infographic below for more ideas. If you have any additional tips or tricks, please share them in the comments below!

Open Nature’s cleaning wipes are perfect for quick clean ups and hard to reach areas. Any sticky spills on cabinets or hardware are wiped away in an instant.

Thank you to Star Market for sponsoring this post. I had the opportunity to work with a plant-based selection of Open Nature products from my local Star Market in Boston—check out your local family of Albertsons stores to see what’s available in your area.

Star Market also offers Grocery Delivery and Drive Up & Go™ for convenient ways to shop!
